Salt spray test chambers are used to artificially simulate salt spray corrosion environments, accelerating the assessment of the corrosion resistance of metallic materials, plating/coatings, electroplated parts, and rust-proofing layers. They are widely used in the automotive, electronics, hardware, and sanitary ware industries. They can perform NSS (neutral), ASS (acidic), and CASS (copper accelerated salt spray) tests, conforming to standards such as GB/T 10125, ISO 9227, and ASTM B117.

The composite salt spray chamber is the closest to the actual natural conditions in the accelerated corrosion test. It is simulated by the conditions commonly encountered in the natural environment: such as salt spray, hot air drying, humidification, low temperature, etc., and can be cycled to do the test. In the test, the main test objects are used in environments with drastic changes, such as: auto parts, aviation equipment, building materials, coating films, electrical machines, etc.
The salt spray test chamber is a widely used test method for evaluating the degree of corrosion reliability, which combines the salt spray test with conditions such as dryness, humidity, low temperature or salt water immersion. In order to test products used in salt corrosion areas, the salt spray test chamber simulates the corrosion and damage effect of atmospheric salt spray on equipment, which is mainly caused by various salts in it. The spray, usually in the form of a mist or ultra-fine mist, creates an environment that accelerates corrosion.
