Daily Maintenance Guide for Climate Test Chamber
The climate test chamber is the core equipment for evaluating the environmental resistance of products. Its accuracy and stability directly affect the test results. Standardized maintenance can not only extend the life of the equipment, but also avoid test deviations caused by faults. The following are the key points of daily maintenance:
1) Environmental management
Placement requirements: Choose a dry and ventilated space, away from heat sources and vibration sources, and reserve a spacing of ≥50cm around the equipment to ensure smooth heat dissipation.
Power supply protection: Use an independent voltage-stabilized power supply and UPS uninterruptible power supply to avoid voltage fluctuations or power outages that damage core components such as compressors and controllers.
2) Daily cleaning
Cleaning of the box: Wipe the outer wall of the box with a soft cloth every week; clean the inner tank and observation window with a neutral detergent (such as diluted alcohol) every month to prevent stains from affecting the uniformity of temperature and humidity.
Drainage system maintenance: Clean the drainage hole after each test to avoid clogging by scale and impurities; inject an appropriate amount of disinfectant into the drainage trough every month to prevent bacterial growth.
3) Maintenance of key components
Refrigeration system: Check the compressor lubricating oil level every quarter, and check the refrigerant pressure every year. If abnormal noise or reduced refrigeration efficiency is found, stop the machine for inspection immediately.
Humidification system: Use deionized water or distilled water to prevent the deposition of impurities in tap water; clean the humidifier water tank and humidification tube every month, and replace the humidification filter every six months.
Air duct filter: Disassemble and clean the air duct filter every month to prevent dust accumulation from affecting air circulation; replace the filter in time when it is damaged to ensure the uniformity of temperature and humidity.
4) Periodic calibration
Monthly self-inspection: Use a high-precision temperature and humidity recorder to compare the equipment display data. Calibration is required when the deviation exceeds ±2℃ (temperature) or ±5% RH (humidity).
Annual inspection: Entrust a third-party organization to conduct comprehensive calibration and issue a calibration certificate to ensure that the test results meet the requirements of ISO, GB and other standards.
Standardized maintenance is the key to the stable operation of the climate test chamber. Doing a good job of daily maintenance can not only reduce the cost loss caused by sudden failures, but also lay a solid foundation for product reliability testing!
