Technical terms commonly used in environmental tests

First, test equipment volume

The actual volume of the space limited by the inner wall of the environmental test box is expressed by square meters

Two, work space

The portion of space in the high and low temperature test chamber where the specified test conditions can be maintained within the specified deviation range

Three, the test chamber stable state

The state when the variation of any point in the working space of the test chamber reaches the requirement of the performance index of the equipment itself

Four, temperature deviation

Under the stable state of the test chamber, the upper and lower temperature difference between the measured maximum temperature and the nominal temperature at each measuring point in the working space within a specified time.

Five, relative humidity temperature difference

Under the stable state of the test chamber, the upper and lower deviation of the maximum and minimum measured relative humidity from the nominal relative humidity at each measuring point in the working space within a specified time

Vi. Temperature fluctuation degree

The change of relative humidity at any point in the working space with time during a specified time interval in a steady state of the test chamber. △Tf=±(Tfmax-Tfmin)/2, indicating: △Tf---- temperature fluctuation, ℃; Tfmax---- The highest temperature measured within 30min at the indicating point of the equipment, ℃; Tfmin---- The lowest measured temperature of the indicating point of the equipment within 30min, ℃.

Seven, relative temperature fluctuation

The change over time in the relative humidity at any point in a workspace during a specified time interval.

Eight, temperature uniformity

The maximum difference between the temperature of any two points in the working space at a certain instant in the stable state of the test chamber. Calculation method: In a stable state, the arithmetic mean value between the highest temperature and the lowest temperature measured at each measurement point in the working space within 30min, △Tu= [∑(Tjmax-Tjmin)] /15 in each measurement, indicating j=1, △Tu---- temperature uniformity, ℃, Tjmax---- The highest temperature measured at each measuring point in the JTH test, ℃; Tjmin---- The lowest measured temperature of each measured value in the JTH measurement,℃.

Nine, relative humidity uniformity

The maximum difference between the humidity of any two points in the working space at a certain instant under the stable state of the test chamber.

Calculation method: The arithmetic mean value between the highest measured temperature and the lowest measured humidity in each measurement point of the working space within 30min in a steady state

10. Temperature change rate

The rate of transition between two specified temperatures measured at the geometric center of the workspace of the test chamber is expressed in terms of ℃/min.

The average transition rate between the two specified temperatures measured at the geometric center point of the workspace of the test chamber every 5min is expressed in ℃/min.

Xii. Air pressure deviation

In the stable state of the test chamber, the upper and lower deviation of the measured maximum and minimum pressure from the nominal pressure in the specified time at the measuring point of the working space

Rate of pressure change

Rate of transition between two specified pressures measured at the geometric center of the test chamber workspace, in kPa/min

Xiv. Temperature recovery time

The amount of time it takes for the workspace temperature to return to its original stable state after it has reached a steady state at the specified temperature.

Fifteen, temperature overshoot

When the device is heated or cooled to the specified temperature, the actual temperature of the working space exceeds the allowable deviation range of the specified temperature.
